Is Our Emotional Guidance System from the Higher Self?

(I still can’t believe this actually exists)

The higher self and the emotional guidance system

According to many spiritual teachers, there has been a monstrous misunderstanding in the relationship between our nonphysical selves and our physical selves in which we operate within this three-dimensional reality.

Most people believe that when we are in our physical bodies, our “soul” or “spirit” remains within our physical vessels, and when we pass on, our “soul” or “spirit” leaves our body.

In short, it’s either in or it’s out!

Well, according to Esther and Jerry Hicks, or should I say, Abraham (the collection of nonphysical consciousnesses that come together to help humanity understand the law of attraction, among other things), this is not correct at all.

In fact, they say that we exist both in our physical forms AND in our nonphysical, higher self forms all at the same time!

And this higher self is an emanation straight from source itself.

And not only do our nonphysical and physical selves exist all at the same time, but they are inextricably tethered together.

And within this inseparable tether, there is a guidance system that functions via our emotions.

In short, it is said that when you feel bad about something, it is because the way your higher self (or nonphysical self) views the issue is incongruent with what your physical, intellectual mind thinks about it.

And so, this incongruence causes the emotional friction within you which is also commonly called "misalignment with your higher self".

Let me give you an example of this:

Imagine you feel sad and lonely and as though no one wants you around.

Well, the negative emotions caused by this mind-based belief are brought about due to your higher self seeing you as the opposite; so loved, so worthy, and such a gift to existence, therefore, emotional friction is generated by this incompatibility of viewpoints.

And your emotional compass tells you that your perspective is WAY off from how source views you.

You can redirect your thoughts from there to align with thoughts that feel better, raise your vibration instead of lower it, and align you with how your higher self views things: Thoughts such as “I am worthy,” “I am equal to others,” “I deserve to be here,” and so on.

So, when you train yourself to tap into the perspective of your higher self via your intuition and get out of your thinking mind and belief systems, then you will become more and more in alignment and, therefore, closer to source.

In fact, from the moment I discovered my emotional guidance system, I have been in awe at how it has been so effective for me in bettering my life that I still can’t believe this actually exists!

There is simply no substitute for your relationship with your higher self–the nonphysical part of you that sees the bigger picture.

So we encourage you (if you’re not already) to listen more to your higher self and utilize your emotional compass, which acts as a navigational system for every aspect of your life.

We think you will thoroughly enjoy the results!

Happy aligning!
